VIKASA Rural Development Organisation (VRDO) registered and working in the state of Karnataka, is a Non Governmental Organisation with the primary objective of protecting boys and girls within their social context and cultural circumstances. Protection from all forms of abuse, neglect and exploitation and building their resilience through gender equity and empowerment to act for themselves are the prime concerns of the society.

Santhwana Scheme
Santhwana Scheme implemented by Vikasa. Santhwana Centre offers 24-hour assistance to distressed women. It includes one counselor and three social service workers dedicated to providing support.

Vikasa Rural Development Organisation is one of the founding members of the Campaign against Child Labour(CACL), Karnataka chapter. It is also one of the members of FEVOURD-K,a federation of over 800 voluntary organisations committed to strengthening the developmental indices in Karnataka through social, economic and cultural empowerment of deprived communities.
